Ngak
Mang USA and The International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine
are pleased to offer
Traditional Tibetan Medicine and Massage Classes

Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
will arrive in New York City in the fall of 2007 to share his knowledge
of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM) with us. An experienced TTM
practitioner and Director of the International
Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM), Dr. Nida will
deliver public lectures and teach courses during his stay in the
United States, from September 17th until October 4th.
As described by the
IATTM, Traditional Tibetan Medicine is a natural and holistic medical
science, which addresses the individual’s needs of body, mind,
and spirit in an integrated way. Dating back to antiquity, TTM has
a genesis, history, and development of its own rooted in the Tibetan
landscape, the indigenous culture and the spirit of the Tibetan
people.
Three separate
introductory courses will be offered this fall:
Ku Nye, Level
One (five day session)
Mantra Healing, Level One (four day session)
Dream Analysis, Level One (four day session)
The courses will run
from September 20th until October 3rd. Classes run for six hours
each day, from 9:30am - 12:30pm and 2:30pm - 5:30pm. Students may
enroll in one, two, or three classes.
Please visit the IATTM
website for detailed information about each course. Classes cost
four hundred dollars each. However, discounts are available to all
NMI members and Tibetans.
Anyone interested
in joining us for lectures and/or enrolling in classes can contact
Julia Famularo or Christopher Bell for more information. All students
should register by August 31st, 2007. Additional students can still
sign up after this date, as space allows.
Tibetans interested
in learning more about TTM classes can download our information
regarding Educational Programs for Tibetans. |
